Ben Crane Wins at Torrey Pines

“It’s really cool to know I’m going in the right direction,” Crane said.
Ben Crane had his first win since 2005 yesterday and called me to help him celebrate.  Crane finished at 13-under 275, a victory that confirms that his application of the Mental Management System is on track. He is going back to Augusta National for the first time in three years, and his victory should put him inside the top 60 and give him a good chance to qualify for the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship.

The teaching point here is that Ben won because he was not trying to.  He was not really aware until AFTER he made his final putt that he had won.  Now that is running the system the way we teach it.  His focus this year has been on process not outcome and that is why the outcome is just fine.  Congratulations Ben, stay with the process.
